For her ump-tieth birthday this pleasant client decided to receive her first tattoo. It was a grand event for her because she would have never done it years ago, but she’s feeling more bold and daring nowadays. For her first tattoo, she wanted to represent her first born grandbabies who were born in July (the larkspur) and August (the gladiolus). These are pretty flowers that aren’t easy to draw. I’ve come to learn that flowers can be similar to doing portraits of people because of the characteristics and minute details that make that flower, that flower. This was fun for me, the client was wonderful and the result looks nice. Happy Birthday!
