Dream catchers are a popular subject to tattoo. They have a plethora of meanings to everyone that receives them. To find out more about them, check out the Wikipedia entry http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dreamcatcher. This particular design includes a twist with the eagle in the middle feather which is a nice surprise for such a common subject. This dream catcher is on the clients forearm. We played around with the placement for a while to make sure the design flowed with her arm contours correctly. This took a while, approximately 4.5 but it was a fun time. Great conversation.  I’ve come to learn that the best tats are the ones that flow with the body, not against it, enhance the area its placed and not destroy it. Surprisingly a lot of people do not keep this in mind and will slap some hideous crap onto folks. I always shed a tear when I see that.
