I can’t make this stuff up…

So this client comes in and asks to have a tattoo she received years ago covered. As I investigate whether or not I could do it, I recognized the artwork as that of a fellow artists. It was faded enough for me to be able to do a successful cover. She mentioned several themes to go with and I went ahead with one we both agreed upon. After drawing on the design, she looked, loved and I began inking. During the session, we began conversing about tats and covering and blah, blah, blah. When I asked why she really wanted to cover it up, this is what she said…

“…This may be a lil more info than needed, but, when my fiancĂ© and I are… you know… I began noticing him gently placing his hands on my lower back. At first I ignored it, then I stopped and asked if he was covering the tattoo. He said yes because he doesn’t like it. So I figured I’d cover it with something he won’t mind looking at…”

I burst into a loud laughter. I was hollering. The fiancĂ© apparently couldn’t look at it no longer so he covered it while loving his woman… woohaaa!
